Listening to our speaker in church today, it prompted me with thoughts that I felt needed to be shared.  The sermon subject was on faith, and the things we hold on to. At one point in the analogy, he used the metaphor of different ropes as things of importance in our lives. The reason I decided to share this with you is that so many people have similar lifestyles, but what is important to them is as different as night and day.  Some of the ideals that many people live by may seem good for them, but upon closer examination, turn out to be a detriment in the end.

We live in a wooded section of the county and use various ropes to maintain our lifestyle.  Any rope can be life helping, or life hurting. One must learn, inspect, and then respect the tool before having faith enough to use it.  There are a lot of tools out there designed to manipulate our lives in one way or another.  Some tools can be programs on the internet, or government based applications (that are first suggested, then sold as life-saving), I`ll bet most of you know where this is going!

Now, my wife and I both have had the COVID-19 virus, and have given plasma many times, to help those in the medical field cure patients.  When we gave plasma, they tested us for antibodies, and each time, our “counts” were strong.  Unfortunately, we have friends and family members that are “grabbing on” to a different reality, that causes them to see us as leprous citizens without vaccines.  They are basing their lives on information put out on the “mega-media” channels that are doing more harm than good for this great nation of ours.  The success of the U.S.A. depends on all of us doing the RIGHT THING!

Let’s learn what is put before us before “grabbing on” to what others tell us they think will save us.
