A Spring Hill man was fatally injured when he walked into the path of a car driven by a man from Tampa.

According to Sgt. Steve Gaskins, public affairs officer (PAO) for the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) shortly after 8:30 p.m. on March 17, a 50-year old man was driving a sedan eastbound on County Line Road, approaching Kelly Road in Pasco County when a 76-year-old man from Spring Hill was walking southbound in the roadway and entered the car’s path.

As a result, the sedan collided with the pedestrian who sustained critical injuries.
