Russell Street will be bustling with activity on Saturday, December 17th. as the Museum Association will be hosting a visit by the well-known resident of the North Pole, Santa Clause! He’ll be all set up in the gazebo by the Good Neighbor Trail. There will be a $5 donation for the visit with Santa. That will include admission to the One Room Schoolhouse where there will be a demonstration of toys from the 1800s and will also include a fun packed tour of the 1885 Depot where, among many things kids are fascinated with, two model train sets will be running.

Cici’s Pizza and Culver’s have donated tickets for free pizza and ice cream at their stores. Gretchen Countryman, event organizer, says that outside (free) events include games, a coloring contest, music and more. A food truck will be selling lunch and cold drinks. She also noted that vendors will provide an opportunity to pick up those last minute gift items and stocking stuffers.

Head to 66 and 70 Russell Street on Saturday, December 17th from 10am to 3pm to meet Santa and enjoy a great day.
