A Brooksville man is facing multiple drug-related charges after Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies stopped his vehicle because it was displaying an expired registration sticker.

Also inside the vehicle, the deputy found a drawstring bag that contained three separate bags containing 128.1 grams of a green leafy substance that field tested positive for marijuana and a pair of glass jars that contained 221.6 grams of live resin, also known as cannabis concentrate which also tested positive for marijuana.

On the vehicle’s passenger seat, he discovered two other containers, the contents of which field tested positive for fentanyl.

Johnson was subsequently arrested and booked into the Hernando County Detention Center on possession of cannabis concentrate and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

His case is pending.
