On March 6-8, high school wrestling teams from around the state of Florida will descend on Kissimmee for the FHSAA Wrestling State Championships. All of the competitors’ blood, sweat, and tears have led to this.
Hernando County will be represented, too, as four of our local public high schools will feature at least one athlete at the tournament. Hernando will send the largest contingent with 11 wrestlers while Central will not send any this year. The competitors are listed below:
