FROM OUR TABLE TO YOURS 01-05-18

Ingredients

3 cans black eyed peas
1 can seasoned tomatoes
1 large onion
½ bell pepper
3 ½ cups rice
½ lb sausage
½ lb bacon

Directions

Cook rice as directed
cut/dice onions and bell pepper, slice sausage
cook sausage and bacon (set aside)

Cook onion and bell pepper until browned.
Add cooked sausage, bacon and
seasoned tomatoes (simmer 10 minutes)
Drain cans of black eyed peas add to mixture above and simmer another
10-15 minutes.

Stir in cooked rice take off heat and let sit for about 10 minutes and serve.
