Brooksville Garden Club Membership will picnic on the verandas and surrounding areas of Chinsegut Manor House & Retreat Center, 22495 Chinsegut Hill Road, Brooksville, 34601, 352-799-5400, on Wednesday, April 11th. While having a BYOBag (and lawn chair) lunch at 12 Noon (soft beverages supplied by the Club), fellow Member, Marie O’Neill, will speak of the Hill’s native & exotic plants with a walking tour of the grounds for those interested. Membership and guests who enjoy hiking will have an added treat. The newly created Hill's Hiking Trail will be guided by Joshua McAdams. ALL Brooksville Garden Club’s meetings are free and open to the public.
Chinsegut Hill's Nature Trail was blazed for a mission to positively impact the mind body & soul’s development by leading pioneer, Joshua McAdams, who is north Tampa Bay's official Local Forager. A walk through the Chinsegut Hill Manor House and Retreat Center Nature Trail brings an abundance of discovery for everyone. This includes finding wild food, medicine, peace, and other like minded people in search for knowledge. Join Joshua on a walk (with a foraging basket) into a special experience in which the Historic Chinsegut founders intended.
