Bucs defeat Colts in 38-35 thriller

TAMPA- At one point in Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it seemed like all hope might be lost. 

Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston started off the game with an interception on his first pass for the third time this season. Winston hit Mike Evans on a 61-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, but the superstar wide receiver pulled up on a bad hamstring and did not return. 

Central boys beats Lecanto on the court- ready for Citrus tonight.

Brooksville--Last season for Central was rough with twelve wins and fifteen losses which included losing against Lecanto twice. However, on the night of February 12, 2019, Central took the Districts Quarterfinals title win defeating Lecanto 60-57.

When Central faced Lecanto during the Thanksgiving Tournament on November 29 at Weeki Wachee High school, Coach Matt Zandecki observed Lecanto’s game strategies and their players’ performances.

Springstead boys roll to 75-55 win over New Port Richey Gulf

SPRING HILL- When Springstead entered the gymnasium on Thursday night, the Eagles were coming off their first loss of the season to Crystal River. So it was a bit understandable that Springstead was looking to take out its frustrations on New Port Richey Gulf when they took the court.
