Bishop McLaughlin Freshman wins gold at State Special Olympics Swim Meet

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School freshman, Arielle Jonas, swam at the State Special Olympics Swim Meet at North County Regional Park in Sebastian, FL on October 6 & 7, 2018. Jonas won the Gold in the 50 meter Butterfly, the Silver in the 50 meter Freestyle and the Bronze in the 200 meter Medley Relay. Jonas swims for Hillsborough Co. Special Olympics Swim Team. Last year Jonas’ mother and older 
sister went to State with her as part of the Unified Medley Relay (2 Special Olympics athletes and 2 Unified Partners). Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School is a College-Prep high school located at 13651 Hays Road in Spring Hill, FL 34610.
