A thriving, dynamic, and endlessly creative art scene is truly the life’s blood and heartbeat of any community. And in the new Hernando Sun column Hernando Art Beat, we will spotlight and celebrate all art groups and artforms in Hernando County, including visual, theatrical, musical, and literary. It will feature visual art samples, interviews, event previews, literary excerpts, and links to music performances.

Hernando Art Beat is a designated space for the arts in Hernando County, and we welcome all creative artists and art groups to be a part of it. Send your submissions anytime to community reporters Megan Hussey and Linda White-Francis at [email protected].
