LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS
• Deputies responded to:
o Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer – 336 Cresthaven Court/Spring Hill – While attempting to take a woman into protective custody she kicked a deputy in the knee. Arrest/Female.
o Trespass after Warning – Bayfront Spring Hill – Woman refused to leave the hospital after being discharged. The woman refused to comply with the deputy’s direction to leave the hospital – Arrest/Female.
o Hospital Walk Off – Oak Hill Hospital/Brooksville – A female patient was being admitted to the hospital under a Marchman Act. When the nurse left the room the woman proceeded to leave the hospital. She was later located back at her home.
o Found Property – 6301 Jamaica Road/Spring Hill – A man was cleaning out his late father law’s garage when he discovered an ammo box containing military-grade blasting caps. The man took the blasting caps back to his residence on Lake Hill Court. The Citrus County Hazardous Devices Team responded to safely remove the blasting caps.
o Missing Juvenile – 10395 Fieldvue Road/Brooksville – Investigation Active.
o Residential Burglary – 25365 Willow Street/Brooksville – Homeowner reported that someone cut a lock on the fence and removed a riding mover and utility cart from the property – Investigation Active.
o Possession of Synthetic Cannabis/Violation of Probation – 901 S. Broad Street/Brooksville – Deputes stopped the operator of a vehicle who was driving erratically. A search located 4.48 grams of Spice. Arrest/Male
Schools:
o West Hernando Middle School – Unknown individual shot several bb’s into a window, damaged a couple of street signs and ripped down some banners.
o Hernando High School – One student punched another student during an argument.
