o Three reports were taken regarding unknown individual(s) calling citizens claiming to be Sheriff’s Office employees. These individuals were telling citizens they had warrants for Failure to Appear and demanding money in return for not having them arrested. This is a scam as the Sheriff’s Office does not make calls asking for money. Anyone who receives a call like this is encouraged to immediately report it to law enforcement.
