For gifts, collectibles and nice finds, Hernando art lovers and collectors will enjoy visiting Ricardo Design, Fine Art and Print Gallery on Spring Hill Drive. The gallery has etchings, sculptures, paintings and art pieces created or collected by Ricardo Rivera, who has been an artist all of his life.
Rivera, a Long Island native, moved to Florida many years ago. In Hudson, in 1995, he established American Car Crafts, manufacturing high-quality car and truck accessories for late model sports and muscle cars and trucks, using stainless steel, carbon fiber, and custom vinyl graphics. Because of the internet, American Car Craft attracted customers from all over the world. In the course of providing his clientele with whatever accessory they could imagine, Rivera and his staff at ACC created prototypes that earned him over 250 patents.
Recently, Rivera’s son bought him out of American Car Crafts, allowing him to realize another dream – to open his own art gallery. Ricardo Design is filled with art collected over the years. Of his new art gallery, Ricardo Rivera says, “It is my mission to seek out and find undiscovered artists with real talent.”
