On 03-20-19 at 11:12 a.m., a homeowner living at 472 Howell Avenue in Brooksville was alerted by his Ring Video Doorbell system that someone was at his front door.

The homeowner was not home at the time.

The other individual, Charlene Pederson W/F DOB/1-30-1971, acted as a lookout while her daughter took the package.

Rachel placed the package into the bottom of a baby stroller and proceeded to leave the area.

The mother and daughter headed over to Cherry Street where they opened the package and removed the three antique soda bottles valued at $100 that were inside of the package.

They threw away the packaging and placed the bottles back into the stroller.

The homeowner immediately called 911 to report the incident along with providing a detailed description of the suspects.

Deputies were quickly able to locate the two suspects walking along Howell Avenue.

Rachel Pederson was charged with one count of Burglary of a Dwelling, a felony. After processing at the jail, Rachel Pederson was released into the custody of her father.

Charlene Pederson was charged with Burglary of a Dwelling and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. She was transported to the Hernando County Detention Center where her bond was set at $11,000.
