Sunday, Jan 20, 2019 saw Brawl USA’s Fast Pass Rumble at the Locamo on Spring Hill Drive. A charity Pro Wrestling Event for Ability Tree Florida, this special event saw the changing of the guard in the Brawl USA locker room, as longtime champ Aaron Epic was dethroned by Taino in a shocking turn of events.

How it got to the title change is the interesting thing. The Fast Pass Rumble was a special, 12-man battle royal, where the winner earned a contract guaranteeing a match against any of the Brawl USA champions at any time the winner wanted. The winner of the Rumble, Joshua Masters, was viciously attacked after the match by Taino, who then signed the contract, guaranteeing that he would be the one to hold the Fast Pass, not Masters.

Fast forward to the main event, where Epic successfully defended his title against Hunter Law in a grueling match that left him physically and mentally exhausted. Taino took that opportunity to use his new contract and take a title he has been saying for months that he deserves.

The Fast Pass Rumble was another entertaining show by Brawl USA that supports Ability Tree Florida, a charity organization that works with families of disabled children. The local group is run by Pastor Wayne Cordova, who is a mainstay in both the neighborhood and Brawl USA.

The Fast Pass Rumble event saw seven total matches, including two other title defenses, the Brawl USA Tag Team championships were retained by the International Superstars and Masters held onto his www.internet championship.

All of the matches were superb, especially Masters’ defense against “The Authority” Eddie Taurus, and the International Superstars against Critical Mayhem.

Brawl USA has been rapidly improving over the last year and with the quality of young talent at their disposal, it would not be surprising to see at least some from this roster get a call to higher profile companies like WWE or the emerging All Elite Wrestling in the future.
