Join us on Saturday, August 27th for crafts and a presentation, then stay to watch the bats emerge from our very own bat boxes at Chinsegut. Below is the program schedule. Feel free to join us for as much or as little of the program as you can. Either way, please RSVP at: https://outreach.myfwc.com/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=1660154&group= Crafts: 6-6:30pm Presentation: 6:30-7:30pm Shari Clark from the Florida Bat Conservancy will be here to share about Bats in Florida Backyards, dispelling myths and misconceptions that surround bats and revealing fascinating facts. Discussions will include the conservation status of Florida’s bats and simple steps that anyone can take to help these beneficial mammals thrive in our human communities. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet live Florida bats after the presentation.
