High Holiday Services Temple Beth David Tashlich

TBD will hold the following High Holiday services and events for 2024: Wed. Oct. 2, Erev Rosh Hashanah 7:30 p.m.; Thurs, Oct. 3, Rosh Hashanah morning 10 a.m.; Tashlich at Pine Island approximately 1 p.m..; Sun. Oct.6, High Holiday Family program 11 a.m.; Fri. Oct. 11, Kol Nidre 7:30 p.m.; Sat, Oct 12, Yom Kippur 10 a.m., Yizkor Service 12:30 p.m., afternoon service 5 p.m.; Break-the -Fast 6:30 p.m.  All events are free except Break-the-Fast which requires an RSVP. Please call the Temple at 352686-7034 for information and join us as we welcome in a sweet New Year.

ABOUT US

The Hernando Sun is a locally owned weekly newspaper. The founders of the newspaper are Rocco and Julie Maglio. They saw the need for a newspaper when the Hernando Today newspaper closed their doors in 2014. Rocco is from Hernando, he went to school from Moton Elementary through Hernando High. Growing up in Hernando enhances his ability to provide background to ongoing issues. The Hernando Sun Printed their first issue in March 2015. They published monthly for a year before increasing to a weekly printing. The newspaper is delivered through the US mail, so it arrives with your mail.
