Tampa Bay Extreme Adventure Course LLP (TBEAC) has requested a six-month extension of their existing license agreement to provide additional time to formulate a lease and/or purchase value and methodology to effectuate the sale of the property and facilities at 6440 Cedar Lane, Brooksville.  (The park formerly operated by TreeUmph!) The board approved unanimously on Nov. 19, 2019. The county would like to sell the property to TBEAC in order to put it back on the tax rolls, but TBEAC is hesitant to purchase the property.  “We need to make sure we’re at a sustainable revenue model to make it (worth buying the property) … if it takes us five more years to get to that point, then I’m ok with that,” said Paul Kent with TBEAC during an Oct. 2019 commission meeting.
