Structures at Linda Pedersen Park will be receiving some updates and improvements in 2021.  Plans to use funds from the RESTORE Act (Federal Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities and Revived Economies of the Gulf Coast States Act of 2012) for replacement of the boardwalk, a new swim platform and replacement of the retaining wall were approved by the State Treasury on July 10, 2020.

The Board of County Commissioners will hear the item at the August 11, 2020 meeting, and if approved, the planning will begin in September 2020. The total estimated cost for the project will be $411,000.
