Louisiana Man Arrested on Numerous Sex Charges Involving Teen

Date: September 29, 2020

On 09-27-2020 at 4 p.m., Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence in Spring Hill where the parents of a teenager found an adult man hiding in their child’s bedroom.

When deputies arrived on scene they found the man, later identified as Johnathan Lee Rossmoine DOB/08-19-1984, still hiding in the victim’s closet.

Hernando County Deputy Uses Drone to Locate Missing Special Needs Child in Northern Pasco County

On 08-16-20 just before 1 p.m., Hernando County deputies were dispatched to the area of Squirrel Prairie Road (Hernando County) and McMullen Road (Pasco County) to assist the Pasco Sheriff’s Office in locating a Missing Endangered Juvenile.

Upon arrival, Hernando County Deputy Josh Mitro met with Pasco County Deputy Topham.
Deputy Topham explained the Missing Juvenile was an 11-year-old with two prosthetic legs and multiple special needs.

The individual pictured is a suspect in a fraud that occurred at Grow Financial located at 4122 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill on Monday, 5/27/2020 at approximately 4:15 P.M. Man Charged with Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Assault After Domestic Incident

On 06-21-20 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Sail Inn, located at 6107 Broad Street in Brooksville, regarding an Assault.

At nearly the same time, Hernando County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to a residence on Broad Street (near the Sail Inn) regarding a Residential Fire. Deputies were dispatched to the scene as well. It was not known at the onset that the two incidents were related.

HCSO Loses One of Its Own

Sheriff Al Nienhuis is saddened and deeply regrets to announce the sudden passing of retired Lieutenant Colonel Royce M. Decker Jr.

Lt. Colonel Decker dedicated his life to law enforcement, serving the citizens of Hernando County from November 1983 until he retired in July 2013.

In addition to proudly serving as a law enforcement officer, Lt. Colonel Decker taught criminal justice courses in various colleges and universities throughout his law enforcement career and into retirement.

Citrus County 3 Missing Juveniles Last Seen 12:30 pm 11/13/2019

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in locating three missing juveniles who were last seen around 12:30 p.m. 11/13/19, leaving South Le Baron Drive in Homosassa, FL.

The first girl pictured is 9-month-old Kaylee Nance. Kaylee has blonde hair and blue eyes.

The second girl is 1-year-old (almost 2-years-old) Julia Nance. Julia has blonde hair and blue eyes as well.

The third girl in the posted photograph is 3-year-old Isabella Rose Tardi. Isabella has brown hair and brown eyes.

Retail Theft

The subjects pictured are the suspects in a retail theft that occurred at A-Z Liquors, 4060 Deltona Blvd., Spring Hill on Friday, 04/12/2019 at approximately 3:00 P.M. Both subjects were seen driving a dark colored SUV.

Counterfeit Bills

Subject pictured passed counterfeit bills at the Rural King located at 2468 Commercial Way, Spring Hill on Tuesday, 04/30/2019 at approximately 3:00 P.M. Subject has a distinct tattoo "Florida" on right forearm.
