Election 2020

Judges on the Ballot

Finding information on the Judges is difficult since they are very limited in what they can say about themselves and this leaves voters with little information on which to make the decision of whether or not they should be retained. The Florida Bar Association provides polls taken by lawyers who interact with the judges.

Florida Constitutional Amendments on the Ballot

The Constitution of Florida is intended to establish rules for the government and as such generally does not get into specifics of regulations. Often the amendments intend to add very specific requirements to the constitution that may quickly become burdensome or outdated. This is why the legislature has continually made it more difficult to pass amendments to the state constitution.

County Commissioner Candidates on Economic Development

Several county commissioner candidates mentioned economic development as a core issue facing the county.  As a follow-up we asked them to expand on their ideas for economic development, describe what they consider that to be and what a strong economic development plan looks like.  Each candidate was given up to 275 words for their response.
