The City Council of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Hearing in the Hernando County Government Center, 20 N. Main Street, Brooksville, Fl. 34601 (Use West entry only). Second and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 951 will be held at 7:00 p.m., December 5, 2022. The Ordinance may be obtained in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601, or by calling the City Clerk at 352-540-3816.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND APPROVING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY APPROXIMATELY 119.8 ACRES IN SIZE BEARING HERNANDO COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER’S KEY NUMBERS 0171892, 380493 AND 201123, GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SOUTHERN HILLS BOULEVARD, IMMEDIATELY EAST AND WEST OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE FUTURE GOVERNOR BOULEVARD AND EAST OF US HIGHWAY 41 (BROAD STREET) IN THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE,
FLORIDA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 2, FROM ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION HERNANDO COUNTY AG AND CITY OF BROOKSVILLE PDP-R (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT-RESIDENTIAL TO CITY OF BROOKSVILLE PDP-R; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Location: This parcel is 119.8 acres in size and is located on the north side of Southern Hills Boulevard, east and west of the right-of-way for the future Governor Boulevard and east of U.S. Highway 41 (Broad Street)
