The City Council of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Hearing in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida . The date for First Reading for a small-scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment Ordinance No. 978, originally scheduled for August 5, 2024, HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR August 12, 2024 and, if approved, Second and Final Reading will be held on August 19, 2024. Both meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida. The Ordinance may be obtained in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601, or by calling the City Clerk at 352-540-3816.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, APPROVING A SMALL-SCALE AMENDMENT TO THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR PROPERTY APPROXIMATELY 0.68 ACRES IN SIZE BEARING HERNANDO COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER’S KEY NUMBER 354100 AND LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WEST JEFFERSON STREET APPROXIMATELY 725 FEET WEST OF DARBY LANE; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
