A 2009 Chevrolet Colorado, driven by a 54-year-old male was heading east on Spring Hill Drive in the left turn lane at the intersection of Kass Circle. HCSO Provides New Option for Proper Disposal of Worn U.S. Flags

In partnership with the National Association of Counties and the National Flag Foundation, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office has installed a flag retirement box, at no cost to the county, in the lobby of its main office located at 18900 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville. Flags should be folded respectfully before being placed in the box. The United States Flag Code prescribes flag etiquette — everything from flying it near other flags to instructions on how to raise and lower it.
