The Fast 4 Ward Band returns to the Florida Country Superfest

The Fast 4 Ward Band is a local country band with members from Hernando and Pasco. The name of the band is a play on words since there are 4 band members plus Dusty Ward the lead singer and founder. The other four members are Nate Johnson on Bass, Joe Lyons plays Lead Guitar, Vinny Androsiglio provides Rhythm, and Frankie Vanderhoef is on Drums. The Band has been around for 4 years.

Dusty Ward honed his craft by singing with tracks. About 4 years ago he decided to form a band. Dusty’s inspiration to begin singing was George Strait. He had the opportunity to meet George Strait during George’s last tour.

The Fast 4 Ward Band is creating original music along with covering country classics. They are working on producing their original songs for a CD.

They play events throughout Florida, but they mostly play in the Tampa Area. You can see them at locations in both Pasco and Citrus in the next few months. They do not have any scheduled events in Hernando, but they are trying to schedule events in Hernando in the near future.

Dusty said that they are "Looking to let people know who they are. They receive great feedback for their high energy performance. Even people who don't like country music sometimes like their music."

For the second year in a row they will be appearing at Florida Country Superfest which is held June 13 & 14, 2015 at Everbank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. The festival will draw over 80,000 people.

The Fast 4 Ward Band was one of 6 bands chosen out of over 500 bands that applied from around the country. They will be the second act of the Fan Fest event on Sunday.

Florida Country Superfest is produced by Festival Productions, Inc. out of New Orleans and AEG Live and produced in association with The Messina Group and SMG.
