NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
HERNANDO COUNTY, FLORIDA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will hold a public hearing on May 10, 2022, at 9:00 AM or shortly thereafter in the John Law Ayers County Commission Chambers, which is located in the Hernando County Government Center, 20 North Main Street, Room 160, Brooksville, Florida. The purpose of the hearing is to review the decisions of the Hernando County Planning and Zoning Commission made on March 14, 2022, regarding Special Exception Use Permits for the petitions described below. The BCC may affirm, modify, or deny the Special Exception Use Permits.

PURPOSE: Special Exception Use Permit for a Home Occupation
GENERAL LOCATION: West side of Spring Lake Highway, approximately 1,500ˈ north of Dan Brown Hill Road

PURPOSE: Special Exception Use Permit for a Place of Public Assembly, namely a venue for Special Events
GENERAL LOCATION: Northwest corner of Wolf Road and Rustling Wind Road
Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard on these matters. You are further advised that if a person decides to appeal any quasi-judicial decision made by the Board, Agency or Commission with respect to any matter considered at such hearing or meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceeding, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
