NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
HERNANDO/CITRUS METROPOLITAN
PLANNING ORGANIZATION (MPO) BOARD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board will conduct a public meeting on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at the Lecanto Government Building, 3600 W Sovereign Path, Room 166, Lecanto, Florida . Items on the agenda include but are not limited to:
-Member appointment to Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Citizen Advisory Committee
-Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Law Enforcement Liaison Program Safety Presentation
-Review and approval of Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization Board Minutes for the February 2, 2023, meeting
-Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization office space lease renewal
-Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization Quarterly Financial Report for the period ending March 30, 2023
-Final report for the Crystal River/Turkey Oak Bypass project
-Amendment to the 2023-2027 Transportation Improvement Plan to add project number 257165-4 (US 41 (SR 45) from S of Withlacoochee Trail Bridge to N of N Sportsman Point)
-Adoption of the 2023 Federal Transit Administration Certifications and Assurances
-Adoption of the Resolution of the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization adopting the Florida Department of Transportation’s Performance Targets for System Preservation Pavement and Bridge Condition (PM2), and Performance Targets for System Preservation Travel Time Reliability (PM3)
-Authorization for Scope B of the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP)

Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board with regard to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, said person will need a record of the proceeding, and that, for such purpose, said person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, Section 286.0105 F.S.
