PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD
HERNANDO/CITRUS
METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION
FY 2023-FY 2027 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the thirty (30) day public review period for the FY 2023-FY 2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) will begin on Monday, May 16, 2022. The TIP will be available to review on the MPO website at: www.hernandocitrusmpo.us A copy of the document is also available in our office at 1661 Blaise Drive, Brooksville, FL 34601.
Any questions or comments can be directed to the MPO staff by phone at 352-754-4082, email [email protected] , regular mail correspondence at the address above, or online comment through our website.
The TIP will be scheduled for review by the MPO Board at public meetings on June 2, 2022, and July 7, 2022, respectively. All meetings of the MPO will begin at 1:30 p.m. and are held at the City of Brooksville, Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue in Brooksville. Meeting agendas will be posted on our website approximately one week prior to the scheduled meetings.
The public is encouraged to attend the public meetings. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) with regard to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, said person will need a record of the proceeding, and that, for such purpose, said person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, Section 286.0105 F.S.
Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons with disabilities needing a special accommodation to participate in this proceeding should contact the ADA Coordinator at 352-540-3810 no later than 48 hours in advance of the meeting. Persons who require translation services should contact the MPO office at 352-754-4082 no later than 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
