NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. in the City of Brooksville, Joseph E. Johnson, III, Council Chambers at 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601. The public hearing provides for the review and approval of the MPO’s Updated Public Participation Plan (PPP). The required 45-day public review and comment period begins on October 26, 2022. The public is encouraged to review and provide comments.

The draft Public Participation Plan may be viewed online at www.HernandoCitrusMPO.us on or before October 26, 2022 and will also be available in our office at the address above.
All meetings are open to the public. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, income, disability, or family status. If a person decides to appeal any quasi-judicial decision made by the Hernando/Citrus MPO Board with regard to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, said person will need a record of the proceeding, and that, for such purpose, said person may need to ensure that a verbatim of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, 286.0105, F.S.
