The City Council of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Hearing in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida. Second and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 939 will be held March 7, 2022. The Ordinance may be obtained in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601, or by calling the City Clerk at 352-540-3816.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND APPROVING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY APPROXIMATELY 83.30 ACRES IN SIZE BEARING HERNANDO COUNTY PROPERTY APPAISER’S KEY NUMBER 0171892, GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SOUTHERN HILLS BOULEVARD, IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE FUTURE GOVERNOR BOULEVARD AND APPROXIMATELY 1,220 FEET EAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF BROAD STREET AND SOUTHERN HILLS BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 2, FROM ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION HERNANDO COUNTY AG TO CITY OF BROOKSVILLE PDP-R (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT-RESIDENTIAL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The First Public Hearing was held February 7, 2022, at 7:00 P. M. at City Hall.

Any person desiring to appeal any decision with respect to any matter considered at this meeting may need a record of the proceedings including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, and, therefore, must make arrangements for a court reporter to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made.
