The City Council of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Hearing in the Hernando County Government Center, 20 N. Main Street, Brooksville, Fl. 34601 (Use West entry only). Second and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 950 will be held at 7:00 p.m., December 5, 2022. The Ordinance may be obtained in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601, or by calling the City Clerk at 352-540-3816.

Ordinance No. 950:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND APPROVING REZONING OF PROPERTY APPROXIMATELY 14.41 ACRES IN SIZE BEARING HERNANDO COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER’S KEY NUMBERS 149020, 149128, 1698639 AND 1698648, GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS LOCATED NORTH OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BOULEVARD, SOUTH OF DANIEL AVENUE, EAST OF HALE AVENUE AND WEST OF MILDRED AVENUE IN THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1, FROM ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS R1B, R2 AND R3 TO PDP-R (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PROJECTRESIDENTIAL); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Property Owner: Brookstone Apartments, LLC.

Parcel Key #s: 149020, 149128, 1698639 and 1698648.

Location: This parcel is 14.41 acres in size and is located north of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, south of Daniel Avenue, east of Hale Avenue and west of Mildred Avenue.
