The City Council of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Hearing in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida. Second and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 941 will be held at 7:00 p.m., February 6, 2023. The Ordinance may be obtained in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601, or by calling the City Clerk at 352-540-3816.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND APPROVING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY APPROXIMATELY 41.11 ACRES IN SIZE GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF CORTEZ BOULEVARD AND ON THE WEST SIDE OF MOBELY ROAD IN THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 2, FROM ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION HERNANDO COUNTY AG AND CITY OF BROOKSVILLE PDP-R (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTRESIDENTIAL) TO CITY OF BROOKSVILLE PDP-R; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Petitioner: James Dicks, Southern Pines Group, LLC on behalf of Southern Pines Group, LLC and Southern Pines 1 Phase Condominium Association, Inc.
Location: This parcel is 41.11 acres in size and is located on the south side of Cortez Boulevard (S.R. 50) and immediately west of Mobley Road.
