The City Council of the City of Brooksville will hold Public Hearings in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida. The date for First Reading for small scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment Ordinance No. 957 is February 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. If approved, the date for Second and Final Reading of the ordinance will be March 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. The Ordinance may be obtained in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601, or by calling the City Clerk at 352-540-3816.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, APPROVING A SMALL-SCALE AMENDMENT TO THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR PROPERTY APPROXIMATELY 49.3 ACRES IN SIZE BEARING HERNANDO COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER’S KEY NUMBER 381198 AND LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF U.S. HIGHWAY 41 APPROXIMATELY 1,695 FEET NORTH OF POWELL ROAD; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

Location: This parcel is 449.3 acres in size and is located East of U.S. 41 approximately 1,695 feet north of Powell Road.
