PUBLIC NOTICE OF CANVASSING BOARD ORIENTATION MEETING
The Hernando County Canvassing Board will convene at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022, in the Elections Office for the purpose of an orientation meeting.
This meeting will take place at 16264 Spring Hill Dr. Brooksville, FL 34604 and in accordance with the Sunshine Law of Florida, all meetings are open to the public, the press, and representatives of political parties. All candidates or their designated representative are invited to attend.
PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES REQUIRING REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS TO PARTICIPATE SHOULD CALL THE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OFFICE AT 352-754-4125, AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE MEETING.
This notice is provided pursuant to F.S. 102.141 and F.S. 286.0105.
Pursuant to Florida Statute § 286.0105, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by this board, agency, committee, or council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings. For such purpose he or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
