PHSC PLACES SILVER IN STATE PERFORMANCE FUNDING

Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) recently placed in the silver category for state college performance funding as announced by the Chancellor’s Office, Division of Florida Colleges. The college will receive Institutional Investment Funds of $799,073 as well as State Investment Funds of $799,073 to support college operations for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Performance funding is relative to the metrics of student retention, completion, job placement, and starting salaries for graduates.

“This award is evidence of our most recent success and a great accomplishment for our college. A special thanks to all of our PHSC employees, District Board of Trustees, and the PHSC Foundation Board of Directors who contribute, from day to day, their dedication and commitment to change the lives of our students,” said Timothy L. Beard, Ph.D., president, Pasco-Hernando State College.
