“Taste of the Fields” is Kiwanis Club of the Brooksville Ridge’s signature event that allows it to perform meaningful service, have a lasting impact on the community and make a significant difference with the funds it raises for various programs benefiting children in Hernando County. This year the proceeds of the event will go to assist foster youth and families in Hernando County,” states Jennifer Siem, Vice President-elect of the club and this year’s event chair.

Taste of the Fields promises to be a fun evening with eight to ten chefs competing in a Taste Competition.

They will compete with taste-sized portions of their best dish – appetizer, entrée or dessert. Tickets costing just $42 will include a sampling of all the dishes, two beer/wine tickets, an opportunity to purchase Njoy Spirits Distillery’s three original products – Ryes and Shine, Wild Buck Whiskey and Mermaid Rum, as well as live music by Barefoot Bob and The Hope. All while supporting a worthwhile cause.
