Investigation revealed two possible suspects, Nathan Spratt and Hunter Bussell.

Deputies worked throughout the night to locate the suspects.

Deputies Veronica Flynn and Kyle Wilson located Hunter Bussell at his residence, at 1221 Candlelight Boulevard in Brooksville. Wilson told deputies that he did not know the whereabouts of Spratt but knew that he “hangs out” in a shed in the back yard of an abandoned residence on Kennedy Boulevard in Brooksville.

Numerous patrol deputies, detectives, and a K-9 team responded to the residence on Kennedy Boulevard in an attempt to locate Spratt.

Upon arrival, the residence appeared to be vacant. Upon searching the area, deputies located Spratt sleeping on a bed, inside the shed.

Both Spratt and Bussell were transported to the District One office for questioning where they both admitted to their involvement in the Commercial Burglaries.

The suspects were charged as follows:

Nathan Spratt B/M DOB/10-27-1999 – Commercial Burglary (2 counts) – Grand Theft – Petit Theft – Bond – $13,500.

Hunter Bussell W/M DOB/10-22-01 – Commercial Burglary (2 counts) – Grand Theft – Petit Theft – Juvenile.

A search warrant will be executed to recover the stolen property from the vacant residence.

The case remains under investigation.
