On 3/25/19 at 12: 14 PM two vehicles were heading westbound on SR 50 approaching 301 in the same lane. Vehicle 2 which was behind the first vehicle tried to overtake vehicle 1 and collided with its rear. After the impact vehicle 2 lost control and overturned, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and died at the scene. The individual in the first vehicle was not injured. Two other passengers in vehicle 2 are in serious condition, both were wearing seatbelts. Alcohol was not related to this event.
