The Hernando County Republican Party has secured another well known figure to speak at their Lincoln Day Dinner. This year the event will be headlined by Best Selling Author and Filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza.
Dinesh was born in Mumbai, India and came to the US as an exchange student. He served as a policy analyst in the Reagan White House before working with several think tanks. He is considered an authority on public policy. The Investor’s Business Daily named him as one of the “top young public-policy makers in the country.” From 2010 to 2012 he was the president of The King’s College in New York City.
Dinesh is a well known for his documentaries, which are some of the highest grossing documentaries, including America: Imagine the World Without Her (2014), Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party (2016), and Death of a Nation (2018). He authored many books including “The End of Racism,” “Illiberal Education” and “Ronald Reagan: How an Ordinary Man Became an Extraordinary Leader.” Several of his books have reached the number one spot on the New York Times Best Sellers List.
Dinesh is a well known national figure and is a conservative thought leader. He uses his platform to question widely held beliefs. His uncanny ability to create a compelling narrative has been a major key to his success.
In the past, the Hernando Republican Party has managed to land prominent Republicans for their events including political commentator Allen West, a former US Army Lieutenant Colonel and United States Representative from Florida as well as presidential candidate Carly Fiorina.
