Birthday Gifts for Charity

As many of us get older, birthdays no longer have the same excitement as they once held in early childhood years. The excitement of waiting for our birthdays and the ‘must-have’ presents has faded. We know longer have to wait for our birthday for something we want. Our friends and family like to acknowledge our birthday and few enjoy showing up at a party empty-handed, so gathering donations for charity is an exemplary use of your birthday.

Our subscriber Mary Mazzuco sent pictures of the gifts for charities that she received at her recent birthday party. Many attendees came in from out of town for the special event. She asked guests to bring gifts that would be donated to Humane Society, SPCA, Hernando County Animal Services, and K9 Partners for Patriots. She held the party at Saxon Manor and her guests were very generous providing much need supplies to Hernando County animal based charitable organizations. There were so many in fact, they filled a large van!

From The Hernando Sun to Mary, sending you a big thank you for your donations and best wishes for a very happy, healthy and many more birthday’s!
