Lady Hornets prepare for Crystal River Pirates

Lady Hornets are ready to face the Lady Pirates on their home court for their second Gulf Coast 8 game.

Currently at 360 points and 211 total in rebounds for 20 games played, Sophomore Sy Crowley (1) leads the Hornet’s court, along with Princess Hester (11) and Morgan McDaniel (2) bringing the extra support. Both Princess and Morgan are currently at 17 games played and averaging around 16 points per game.

Facing Crystal River at 14 wins and four losses this Tuesday night, January 21, could be a good challenge for Sy, Princess and Morgan. Since the Lady Pirates are putting seventy points on the board, a defensive strategy is a high priority to implement in this game.

Two back to back district home games are set for Weeki Wachee this week, Central on January 24 at 6:30 pm and The Villages on the 25th, tip-off at 1:30 pm.
