Hernando County Injury Crash Darlene Street / Algonquin Street 5/5/21

An SUV driven by a 61-year-old male from Weeki Wachee was traveling eastbound on Darlene Street, east of Algonquin Street, when the driver lost control of the vehicle which continued eastbound through the yard of 5567 Darlene Street and over a seawall where it became submerged. At the time of the crash, the driver was in critical condition. A 59-year-old male passenger from Brooksville was not injured. Both driver and passenger were wearing their seatbelts.
