Fatal Hernando County Crash at Evanston Street and Cortez Boulevard. 6/6/21

FHP Troopers are investigating a fatal crash at Evanston Street and Cortez Boulevard.  

CORTEZ BOULEVARD (SR-50) is CLOSED in both directions from COMMERCIAL WAY (US-19) to the Environmental Center (just past the backside of the state park). This area is just WEST of the intersection of 19/50).

Drivers should select an alternate route, as travel will NOT be permitted in this area for an undetermined amount of time.
