Christmas is coming home to The Christ Lutheran Church this year as the Brooksville HomeTown Market presents Brooksville’s HomeTown Christmas; A jubilant Yuletide experience for young and old alike.

The church, located at 475 North Ave West, Brooksville, will host Brooksville’s HomeTown Christmas. This is a market and event Dec 18th (10 am – 5 pm) and Dec 19th (1 pm – 5 pm) that will feature a storytime hayride with Santa and Mrs. Claus, pony rides, petting zoo, inflatables, henna tattoos, and fresh produce. Free entry and parking will be offered at this fun, family-friendly event and is a celebration of local artists, makers, bakers, and foodies.

“The market will offer lots of local vendors, artists, crafters, makers, and bakers. Food trucks, a Coffee truck, and snackie-type vendors. We have Patrick’s Produce with fresh produce, pony rides, a petting zoo, and inflatable bouncers,” said spokesperson Jessica Longoria.

On Dec 19th from 1:30-3:30 pm, the market will offer storytime hayrides with Santa and Mrs Claus. ByPass Garage Inc. is providing the trailer and tractor for this activity, with Magical Parties by Gwen providing the story and character appearances. “This is approximately a 10 minute hayride around some downtown cobblestone streets with Santa and Mrs Claus. A story will be read by Mrs Claus. Great photo opportunities, wonderful time for imagination!” said Longoria. This activity is $5 per child and includes 1 adult rider with each child, payable to Magical Parties by Gwen at the time of the Hayride.
