NOTES FROM THE MUSEUMS: Festive Days

The daytime history tours at the museums are a delightful experience this time of year, especially with all of the holiday decorations going up. Garlands swinging from the stairways and doubling pocket doorways at the May-Stringer. Model trains at the 1885 Depot steam through winter wonderlands. The Countryman One Room Schoolhouse is full of a child’s anticipation of gifts to come!

The Night of Lights tour will be on Saturday, December 10 from 6 pm-9 pm, it will be a self-paced tour followed by hot chocolate and cookies, but you will be enchanted by the daytime tours throughout the holiday season.
