A Spring Hill man was killed when he lost control of the car he was driving.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Spokesman Sgt. Steve Gaskins said that shortly before 7:30 a.m. on March 13, a 24-year-old Spring Hill man was driving a sedan westbound on Spring Hill Drive west of Bret Ferguson Road when he lost control of the vehicle.
The sedan subsequently left the roadway, entered its north shoulder, struck a mailbox, and began to overturn. As it did, the driver was ejected from the car.
The man was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
