Collision Claims Pedestrian on Spring Hill Drive

A Spring Hill woman was killed when she was struck by a car while crossing Spring Hill Drive.

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Public Affairs Officer (PAO) SGT. Steve Gaskins said that shortly after midnight on Dec. 23, a 31-year-old Brooksville man was driving an Acura TLX sedan west on Spring Hill Drive when, at the intersection of Linden Drive, a 40-year-old woman was walking across the highway.

The woman was struck by the sedan when she entered its path.

The woman was subsequently taken to an area hospital, where she later died from the injuries she sustained in the incident.
