Animals have always captivated Kathleen, who is also passionate about helping those in need. She grew up in Lafayette, Indiana, and earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary English education from Purdue University, where she worked as a tutor in the writing lab. Kathleen later earned her master’s degree in secondary administration and went on to become a teacher, assistant principal, and eventually a middle school principal in Indianapolis. She now lives a full life, enjoying time with her children and grandchildren.
