Temple Beth David Celebrates Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israeli Independence Day

On Sunday, Temple Beth David in Spring Hill celebrated the anniversary of Israel’s Declaration of Independence on May 14, 1948. Food, of course, was an important part of TBD’s celebration. Attendees were well fed by the Hummus Truck, which provided all-you-can-eat falafel, hummus, pita, and other Middle-Eastern fare. It was a social occasion as community and temple members gathered to eat and catch up with each other. There was also some scarf dancing to Israeli music!
