Construction is now well underway on a worship center for Crosspoint Church.  The goal is to finish construction this summer.  The building is located at Corporate Blvd and Anderson Snow Road. The property is approximately 15.80 acres.

Crosspoint Church has served Hernando County since August 13, 2006, and has been located inside Challenger K8 for weekly Sunday and Wednesday services. The church originally started with 12 people and in just 7 years from opening, they had over 1000 members. Today they are looking to expand as their congregation is still ever-growing.

Paul Castelli is the founding and lead pastor of Crosspoint Church. In the fall of 2005, he and nine others felt God calling them to start a new church in Spring Hill, Fla. God raised up an outstanding leadership team to launch Crosspoint Church. Together they faithfully lead this church in bringing the message of God’s hope, love, and grace to the community of Spring Hill.

This new facility will be for church service and public assembly. Pastor Paul Castelli stated that in the future they hope to have this location provide other services such as on-site daycare, home school, and elementary school ministries. The church is also open to the possibility of using the facility for activities and events for adult learning, but currently, the need to expand for worship and bible studies is more immediate. Crosspoint states that expanding is vital to continue with their mission throughout the county; which is to serve and minister Hernando County.

Pastor Paul Castelli states, “We love our county and desire to be a source of hope and encouragement for decades to come.”

Wagner Construction of Leesburg is the building contractor for the project. According to permitting records, the building dimensions are 150’ x 250’ with an estimated project value of $9,378,000.
